Voting Promotion Campaign for 16 and 17 year olds “UNICEF: #YoElijoVotar”

Young people aged between 16 and 17 years old have been allowed to vote in Argentina since 2012.

From then on, Argentinian Ministry of Interior and Unicef have developed a joint initiative called ¨I Choose to Vote¨: an ad campaign aimed at young people voting for the first time, to promote knowledge and improve their access to electoral information.

A short campaign with great impact. We only had 11 days to contact the young people who would be new voters and tell them about their rights and obligations.
That is why we use the power of social networks, but segmenting with very specific audiences. Especially working with video. We also did Search, with specific Keywords, so as not to compete with the political proposals and not cause confusion. We complete with a programmatic campaign focused on the target segments.
